Am I really a bitch? and other random musings

*sighing heavily* If you have read Trisket's entry yesterday, and know who we both are, I just want to ask one thing of you. Please take his venom with a grain of salt. There's a lot of my side that has been distorted or left unsaid. I'm going to leave it that way ... I don't want this to get any messier than it already has. I had the best of intentions ... and ended up being painted as a bitch.

[Note, added later in the day: His new entry speaks of olive branches. Damn. I never could hold a grudge, guess I can't start now.]

I'm not sure what else to write about today. There's this atmosphere about down days that puts a damper on the imagination. I'd go see "What Women Want" to cheer up ... frothy romances, especially with Mel Gibson in them, could pull a smile out of any girl ... but I have to drive to my parents' place tonight (yes, again). This time it's because I have a hair appointment tomorrow that Mom scheduled in Monmouth at 9AM. I really should find a good hairstylist up here.

I've thought of another solution for Hildegaard. I don't know if she'll go for it, though. As far as I understand, she pays roughly $400/mo rent to her aunt for her current living quarters. I could find a studio apartment for her near Azash and I for just a little more than that. Then she could still move out and be near all her friends, but she wouldn't have to find somebody to live with, either. I hope she goes for it. I want her out here. Right now, she works so much that I can't get ahold of her, and she's only free late enough at night that she doesn't want to wake me with the phone. *sigh*

My brother's after me to play EverQuest now. Good grief, I'm not even done playing Diablo II yet (I'm currently working on a L22 Barbarian), and EQ costs $10/month to play. *sigh* Ah, the frustrations of being (relatively) poor. If he pays for DSL in our new apartment, though, I suppose I could play. =^)

I found another code, the Gryphon Code. I need to make an About Me page and put them all on it. Note: I don't actually participate in most of these societies which have Codes.

*yawn* It's been really quiet at work lately. I even got to pass all the utility bill data entry to the workstudy. (This is a bigger job than it sounds. Imagine all the vast number of buildings and meters present on a 70+ acre campus, with multiple bills for EACH, and multiple items of data per bill!!)
