2001-02-12 - 14:36:44 MMMmmm ... and I've been reviewed!! *gasp*
I tried chai for the first time today. One of the secretaries knows I like trying various hot beverages, and she's fond of chai, so she brought in the fixings and heated up a batch. My first thought on the scent it emits: Spices?!? Very odd. My first thought on the taste: MMMMMmmmmmmmmm ... GIMME SOME MORE!!! *laugh* I also got reviewed this weekend ... Well, I guess my first comment on that is: Will the reviewer check up on the reviewees from time to time and see if the sites have improved or sunk in his estimation? I do appreciate the comments and the attention, really. I'm just curious. I got 3/5 "grasping hands" ... mostly knocked down for layout choices. Let me remind my readers that I am (1) very fond of felines and (2) doing this from work. My "older entries" page is from the last layout ... I haven't had the time to implement a new one just yet. But I will be (FINALLY!) getting DSL from the apartment at the end of the month, so the quality of the look will probably improve drastically about that time. That is ... if I can tear myself away from EverQuest. *grin* My brother is intent on addicting me to it; he bought me the CD at Christmas, and is busily arranging for enough network parts that our single DSL modem will give connection to all 4 of the apartment's computers. (Yes, I said 4. 3 of them are his!!) The reviewer also mentions naivete. I am rather naive, I suppose, in many aspects of life; others, I am not, but I generally strive to keep those "jaded" parts of me in the background. I've had enough experience with depression and angst that I cherish the bubble of contentment when I have it, and try to protect it. I also struggle with privacy issues, since most of what really gets me steamed has much to do with other friends and their secrets. But don't worry; if you crave angst on Diaryland, sooner or later my page will be full of it. I have to do the mailrun now ... but I fully intend to update again later today. I just felt the need to comment. =)
