What's a friend for?

Better.

I won't be saying much (in here or in email) until Hildegaard leaves Wednesday, but I thought I should stick my nose in for just a moment and mention that life is good.

Aside from the Boise issue and the fact that Hildegaard arrived a full day later than originally expected, this vacation has been a really good experience. Movies have been watched, walks taken, deep conversations aired, stories written, laughs given, and morning devotionals shared.

This is what a best friend is for. Relaxing, sharing, and forgetting all about the garbage of day-to-day living in a lonely world. I wish she were here longer than 5 days, but since 5 days is all we have, I plan to enjoy every moment I can.
