How I would like to be seen ...

Okay, so I was a little moody last night when I got all into the Image thing. Beats worrying about impending joblessness, though. I really hate looking through the Want-Ads and realizing that nobody wants what I've got, and the deadline is only three months away.

I did some more thinking. That outfit would look equally well if the leather were black, with the small exception that it wouldn't mesh quite so well with my hair and eyes. No big, though. I'm really fond of black. Well, black, and deep forest green, and sage green, and chocolate brown, and crimson, and periwinkle, and teal, and ... I'll shut up now. Anyway, I look good in black.

This got me wondering: What kind of a car would the Ideal Me drive? I'm fond enough of my white 1991 T-Bird, but while it has more pizzazz than my navy station-wagon or my silver Olds ever did, it's still not quite the thing. I'm thinking ... something classic. Black. And fast. Oh yes, very definitely fast.

No vanity plates; that would be a cop-magnet just as much as a red convertible, or the reflective-chameleon-paint Viper my brother lusts after. I don't want to be seen as instantly dangerous, or anti-law, or anything.

How would I like to be seen? ... I want be the kind of person that makes people's eyes flicker at first glance, because they're not *sure* whether you're dangerous or just blessed.
